Australia’s Zarraffas coffee shop is doing very well thank you

Zarraffas

In Warwick, one of the coffee shops has recently earned the name of the ‘Palace’ of franchises. Why? The nickname has arisen because of the extraordinary success it has had in a relatively short period of time. It seems that the blues of the economic climate affecting much of the world, has not stopped or tainted the growth of this new endeavour.

So, what’s the story? Zarraffas was opened in January 2010 and over the first year of business has had remarkable success. It is one of five coffee outlets in Australia which offers a drive-thru facility. And in addition, the coffee branch also tailors events to customers’ celebrations. For instance, there is the option to have a bouncy castle and face painting for children’s birthday parties. According to reports, there is even an intention to use the car park at the premises as a mini-circus for one event.

Miss Grant at the shop has been quoted in the local press talking about the first year of business for Zarraffas. Apparently, it has exceeded expectations and the team in the coffee house are delighted by the reception of the outlet in the local community too. It is said that around eight per cent of customers are known to the coffee branch team of staff and that they often know their favourite beverage too.
According to reports, some other franchisers have been inspired by the success of the ‘Palace,’ and are thinking about starting their own drive-thru arrangement too.
