When it comes to the Australian Barista Championships, Ona Coffee has just gone two for two.

After the success of the company’s director Sasa Sestic last year, Ona’s head barista trainer High Kelly topped the charts this time around.

Kelly – who helped Sestic on his march to world glory just over twelve months ago – claimed his place in the nation competition by winning the Central Regional Barista Championships last September.

Rabobank Considers Raising Prices After Low Projection

Rabobank, the Dutch multinational financial services company, has revealed that its executives have been toying with the idea of raising coffee price forecasts.

Speaking after conducting one of the biggest crop surveys ever completed, the bank stated that it believes the Brazilian coffee harvest for the 2016-17 season will fall short of current market averages.

Lavazza Expect Sales To Hit $1.9 Billion

After purchasing the popular French coffee brand Carte Noire, Lavazza is of the assertion that its revenues may rise to $1.9 billion this year.

If that figure does end up on Lavazza’s end-of-year balance sheets, it would represent an increase of nearly twenty percent when compared to 2015’s figures.

The deal will see Lavazza become the leading coffee supply in one of Europe’s biggest – and most lucrative – markets.
