Research by the American Heart Association shows that none smoking, healthy women who drink at least 2 cups of coffee per day are at a lower risk of having a stroke.
The researchers used nurses health study data to show that the risk of all types of stroke dropped by:
12 percent less in women drinking one cup per day.
19 percent less in women drinking two to three cups per day.
20 percent less in women drinking four or more cups per day.
Sounds like a good reason to drink more coffee to me!
