Another investigation into the relationship between coffee and weight

There has been much talk in the news of late about whether coffee helps us to lose weight or not.
First we had suggestions that green coffee supplements were great weight loss aids.
Next it was suggested that coffee drinking might cause obesity.
This was followed by articles by organisations, such as the NHS, concluding that this obesity/coffee relationship was not necessarily correct.
In Zee News India, another story is out on the topic.
A new study has suggested that coffee could help the loss of weight.
The study is underway at the Griffith University and scientists are investigating whether or not coffee consumption can suppress appetite.
How is it being monitored?
Participants are given one of three ‘coffee’ shots with breakfast either a caffeine tablet, normal coffee or decaffeinated coffee.
They are then monitored until lunch.
The results so far?
The study seems to suggest that caffeinated coffee makes the participants feel the most sated, compared to the caffeine tablet and decaffeinated coffee.
However, the study is still underway and the findings are not final.
What will the final conclusions on this issue be?
Do you feel more satisfied after drinking a cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning?
