Australians changing habits in coffee consumption

The coffee industry and cafe culture might be a blossoming one, but it is also relatively new to many cultures.
We may now love to meet friends and family in our local favourite coffee shop, or perhaps we have business meetings, debates and information gatherings in these venues.
Our tastes have become more sophisticated and the blends and forms of coffee which are available are correspondingly sophisticated too.
There have been a couple of news articles of late, including News.com, which have noted the pattern this has created in the habits of coffee-drinking Australians.
What has been noticed?
It seems that instant coffee is no longer as popular as it once was.
Over the past five years, fewer people are buying instant coffee, as the consumers prefer to buy the fresh product.
These findings were uncovered by research from Roy Morgan.
However, if an Aussie is going to go for a cup of instant coffee, it seems that they will plump for the Nescafe brand.
This move away from instant coffee in preference to fresh coffee has been noted in other countries too.
Do you still enjoy a cup of instant coffee or do you always want the fresh stuff?
What do you prefer?
