Do curry-eaters have a different take on life compared to salad-fanatics?
Or beer versus wine drinkers?
There has been an interesting article in the Daily Mail recently, the statistics were collated by Zip HydroTap instant water heaters in a poll which they carried out; which argues that there is perhaps a difference in temperament (and salary) of tea and coffee drinkers.
It is suggested that coffee-drinkers tend to be wealthier than tea drinkers.
Apparently on average, coffee drinkers earn an average of 34,490, which is over 2,000 per annum more than tea drinkers.
The coffee-suppers are more likely to have received pay increases over the last five years too.
The characteristics of tea-drinkers in the workplace were said to be different.
They were more laid-back at work and were ‘fair’ personalities.
While the coffee drinkers climbed the greasy pole, a tea- drinker in the office was more likely to be ‘the life and soul’.
Tea drinkers claim to be team players (84%), whereas only 74% of coffee drinkers made the same claims about their personality.
Have a quick looksee around your office and see if this rings true.
The tea leaves might spell out your future, or possibly swap your frivolous tea for a more serious coffee just to hedge your bets either way.
