Celebrate Jamaican independence with a cuppa

Did you realise that it is 50 years since Jamaica gained its independence?
It seems to be the year of the jubilee as this country is also holding one this year!
As reported in Breaking Travel News, the Jamaicans have chosen to use coffee as part of the celebrations.
Marley Coffee is a gourmet product, which has been chosen to help to commemorate the event.
The coffee brand is promoted as an ethically farmed product, which has been sustainably grown.
In addition, the company is also currently promoting another of its retail products at the celebrations – Marley Coffee BikeCaffe.
What is this all about?
The BikeCaffe idea is being pedalled in certain Jamaican and European cities: it essentially means selling coffees via mobile cafes from (yes, you guessed it) bikes.
The three-wheeled vehicles have been chosen as they are environmentally friendly and do not leave a carbon footprint behind them.
If you fancy hunting out one of these new BikeCaffes, where could you find one?
They are to be in use at Falmouth Port and the Bob Marley Museum for starters.
However several organisations have shown an interest in potentially becoming franchisees for the venture and so watch this space to see if a BikeCaffe comes to an area near you…
