Coffee festivals in London

Thanks to the vibrant global industry, there are an increasing number of events which centre solely around coffee.
Think, for example, about the World Barista Championships, which celebrate the craftsmanship and skills of baristas the world over – or perhaps the numerous coffee conventions which welcome visitors from all countries, plus the chance to learn more about coffee and network with other coffee professionals.
Think, too, about organisations that aim to improve the business, such as the Fair Trade movement.
There’s another phenomenon too: the coffee festival.
And there is another one coming to London soon.
In fact, it will be the third year that the capital city has hosted its own bespoke London Coffee Festival.
It will kick off between 25 and 28 April, in the East End of the city, at Old Truman Brewery.
So what will be going on at the festival this year?
Of course, there will be all manner of coffees around to try and sample, from coffee chains and from speciality outlets alike.
In addition, you can find out more about coffee by checking out the live demonstrations, which will focus on different aspects of the product, such as coffee roasting.
Oh and of course there will be a wide variety of foodie treats too, from street food to artisan delights.
But don’t just take our word for it – if you’re in London next month, why not swing by and check it out for yourself.
