Good news for coffee owner in Bristol, England

Fancy hearing some good news about business in Bristol?

Many of us are tired of hearing about the economic downturn, the problems that retailers are facing, increasing unemployment, burgeoning debt and so on.

Let’s think about the businesses that are doing well instead.

Take for example the Grounded coffee shop chain, which is growing nicely, thank you very much.

The third outlet in the chain is to open in Gloucester Road in Bristol in premises which were formerly used as a car showroom.

The coffee chain already has outlets in both Bedminster and also Redfield.

Apparently – according to reports in the local news – the owner of the chain has taken about 6 months to transform the car showroom into its new identity as a café and four flats.

You may be unsurprised to hear that the owner, Mr Holbrook, is also a property developer.

The grand opening of this third coffee shop in the Grounded brand is scheduled to open in May.

As well as providing a local social hub and great coffee, the new branch is also said to provide around 20 people with jobs.

It seems that the brand has hit the right mark in the past too – apparently the Grounded outlet in Bedminster was given an award as the most family-friendly place in the city of Bristol.

The new design is also tailored to the surrounding area, including a reading garden for clients who want an outdoor space to read and also outdoor space at the front of the café.

We wish the venture well.
