Steven Kings cult classic Carrie is due to get a remake and the advertising minds going into promoting the film have come up with a belting promotion that has already racked up 16 million hits on you tube so far.

Hidden cameras, terrified customers and a damsel in distress seemingly hurling a grown man against the wall, chucking furniture about all with the power of her mind.

Well it certainly makes a change on your average run of the mill, dreary Thursday!

This stunt was set up in West Village New York and it’s certainly made its mark- the video showing how the stunt was set up can be seen in the clip above along with the reactions from the terrified customers.

Keep your eyes pealed for the film which will be released later this year starring Chloe Moretz as Carrie and Julianne Moore as her mother.
